FACIAL AFTERCARE

Don’t wear makeup for the rest of the day following your facial. This will ensure that you benefit fully from the products used during the facial, as well as prevent blocked pores. Never wear makeup to sleep in, make sure to remove all traces at the end of each day.

Avoid other facial treatments for 3-4 weeks. These may irritate or aggravate your skin due to the deep exfoliation you have had today.

Don’t use perfumed or exfoliating products on your face for 72 hours  following a facial because your skin may be more sensitive than usual. 

Do not heat the skin e.g. long baths, exercise, spas, steam rooms and saunas for at least 48 hours (more if your skin is still red or recovering in any way).

Do not expose your skin to strong sunlight, sunbeds or self-tan for at least 2 weeks. Make sure to wear SPF 30 every day to protect your skin.

Drink plenty of water and keep a balanced wholefoods diet to provide your skin with the essential nutrients and hydration needed to be healthy.

If you have had Microneedling, your skin can feel hot and sensitive after treatment, this is completely normal and can last 48 hours. Depending on the type and strength of treatment, your skin may flake a couple of days after treatment which can last for a few days.
