Why I Stopped Doing Facials and Closed My Skin Clinic

Sep 26, 2025

The Truth Behind My Decision

For years, I ran a facial clinic. I loved my clients. I loved seeing the short-term glow they walked away with. And for a while, I believed this was the best way to help people feel better in their skin.

But something was missing.

I started to notice a pattern: women would leave my treatment bed feeling good for a week… and then return with the same struggles, the same flare-ups, the same heartbreak over their skin.

And I realised — facials weren’t getting to the root.

Why I Stopped Doing Facials

Facials can be beautiful self-care, but they don’t heal the relationship you have with your skin. They don’t regulate your nervous system. They don’t change the internal inflammation driving acne or rosacea.

They give a surface-level glow — but surface-level isn’t enough.

I knew, deep down, that if I truly wanted to help women, I had to stop giving temporary fixes and start guiding them into deep, lasting transformation.

That’s when I made the hardest but most aligned decision of my career:
đź’« I closed my clinic.

What I Chose Instead

Instead of pouring energy into facials, I chose to devote myself fully to what I know creates lifelong change:

🌸 Teaching women to regulate their nervous system so their body feels safe to heal.
🌸 Guiding them through the Skin Triangle Method™ — topical, internal, emotional.
🌸 Helping them release the fear of being seen and build unshakable confidence.

That’s why I built She Glows Anyway.

Because I no longer wanted women to just walk away glowing for a week. I wanted them to glow for life.

Closing the Clinic: A Leap Into Alignment

Was it scary? Absolutely. My clinic was my safety net. It was what people knew me for. But keeping it open felt like I was holding onto an old version of myself — one that didn’t match the vision I was stepping into.

Closing my clinic was an act of trust. Trusting myself, trusting my future, trusting the women who were waiting for me to show up in my full truth.

And in that trust, everything began to expand.

The Lesson

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is walk away from something that “works” on the surface, but no longer feels aligned.

For me, closing my clinic wasn’t about giving up — it was about rising higher. It was about shifting from surface-level beauty to deep, soul-level confidence.

And I’ll never regret it.
